HYDRAFORCE, INC. OFFERS A DUAL SOLENOID MULTIFUNCTION VALVE DRIVER WITH JOYSTICK, POTENTIOMETER AND CONTROL SYSTEM INTERFACE
CHICAGO, IL - Hydraforce, Inc. introduces the Dual Solenoid Multifunction Valve Driver to control 4-way proportional directional circuits used in mobile equipment and industrial processes.
This multifunctional design will support inputs from industry common joysticks with or without center tap, a standard potentiometer, or commonly available control signals such as 0-5 Volts, 0 to +1-5 Volts, 0-10 Volts, 0 to +/-I0 Volts, 0-20mA, and 0 to +/-0-20mA. Accepting 9 to 32VDC power supply voltages, the connection is conditioned to withstand the harsh environment found in vehicular power systems. Reverse polarity, static, surge and electronic overload protection are provided. A superimposed dither reduces friction effects and increases the linearity of the valve. Maximum and minimum current, ramp times, dither frequency and amplitude for each solenoid can be adjusted to match the application. Independent or symmetrical ramps as well as deadband jump are user selectable. A master/slave option permits only one axis of the joystick to operate at a time. Center null is provided. High low range input provides reduced output for operation in tight spaces.
Multiple outputs are available to implement conventional dual solenoid proportional 4-way directional valves, or bidirectional proportional flow circuits using various combinations of flow control and on/off valves.
The driver is potted to withstand the rugged mobile environment and available as a packaged driver enclosed in an IP67 rated metal housing with spade terminal connections. Contact the manufacturer for application-specific housing and connection styles.
