The DGE-series Shielded "Dust Proof" product line consists of ball screw and belt actuated linear actuators, and are available in either compact or heavy duty configurations. The design of the DGE Shielded actuator, which incases the belt or ball screw within a profile barrel, helps keep them free from damaging contaminates. The DGE's linear guides are also coated with a unique corrosion "preventative" to minimize maintenance and ensure longer service life.

The shielded DGE slides cover the linear guides with a metal shield, preventing contamination from falling on top of the guides and damaging the bearings. In addition, the belt or ball screw drives are incased within the DGE's extruded body that keeps them out of harms way.

The shielded DGE slides are available in two sizes with heights of 3.2 or 4.2 inches. Load capacities are 700 and 1650 pounds respectively at a life expectancy of 2 billion inches of travel.

For multi axis applications, installation of the DGE- series actuators to one another, other pneumatic slides and/or guided cylinders is simplified by a wide selection of mounting plates.
