East Providence, RI -- Chainflex® CF21 and CF27 high-flex servo cables from igus® Inc. supply power for factory automation, performing through millions of cycles, under long or short travel conditions and at a small bend radius of 7.5 times the outer diameter of the cable. All igus Chainflex cables are designed for installation in Energy Chain® cable carriers and withstand the stress of tight bending radii and moving applications to deliver longer extended life at a lower cost.

Chainflex CF21 and CF27 both assume a similar conductor construction of four power conductors and one or two signal pairs. They both meet industry standards with UL, CSA and CE approval. They are oil-resistant, flame-retardant and UV-resistant.

CF21 is an all-around, low-cost servo cable with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer jacket. CF27 has a polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket which is ideal for applications requiring a high level of abrasion-, oil- and chemical-resistance. It can also withstand a wider range of temperature than CF21, from -4 to +176 degrees Fahrenheit and is available at a reduced diameter.
