This bipolar stepper weighs a mere 0.27 lbs and possesses a holding torque of up to 16 oz-in.The windings of the 3509V are encapsulated with a thermally conductive ceramic based polymer which allows heat to dissipate at a faster rate.This allows for more aggressive windings in the same small package The step accuracy of this size 14 stepper is +/- 1.5 arc minutes compared to the competitor's accuracy of +/- 4.5 arc minutes at 1/64 microstepping. This is why Lin Engineering's 0.9 degree motor is considered to have the best microstep accuracy in the industry.
