Fall River, MA --Maxon Motor’s “Maxon Medical” business unit, which supplies high-precision microdrives smaller than 10 mm diameters for the medical technology sector, received certification under the ISO 13485 medical standard, confirming the high reliability and safety of all its microdrives.

Maxon Medical’s precision motors, with diameters of 10 mm and less, can be used wherever high performance is required in a very small space. In medical technology, maxon medical services markets such as diagnostics, therapy, surgery, prosthetics, laboratory technology, dental technology and pharmaceutics which place high demands on product quality and reliability.
