EAST PROVIDENCE, RI--igus, inc. has expanded the E-Z Chain line of cable carriers to include new cable separation features, as well as more widths and heights, offering more cable package options for light-duty applications.

E-Z Chains feature a split crossbar design along either the outer or inner radius, which allows cables to be pressed directly into or pulled out of the carrier. This design eliminates the need for tools and speeds up installation and maintenance time significantly.

Current E-Z Chains offer a single compartment for conduits with an inner height limit of 1.26" and an inner width limit of 1.89". The new E-Z300 Energy Chains offer up to three split crossbar compartments with a removable, adjustable shelf in the middle compartment to accommodate more cables. An inner height of 1.77" and widths up to 5.87" are now available to accommodate cables further. Other specifications, such as link pitch and bend radii, are equivalent to igus' Series 350 carriers.

Igus specializes in Energy Chain/Energy Tube cable management systems, Chainflex** high-flex cables for automation, and iglide** polymer bearing products.
