| New! Micro Stepping Driver with Step Pulse Multiplier
Santa Clara, CA - Lin Engineering has introduced a series of cutting edge, low cost, high performance step motor drivers and power supplies. They have been designed and manufactured exclusively for Lin Engineering by RMS Technologies
The R710 features a max of 7A per phase and a min 0.3A, with only 10watts heat dissipation at 7A per phase.
The R710 includes the STEP PULSE MULTIPLIER circuit. The circuit allows the user to select full-step, half-step, 5-microstep, and 10-microstep setting, from a full step input. The step pulse multiplier will multiply the pulse rate by 10, 5, 2, or 1, respectively. This will enable the R710 Driver to always output at 10-microsteps. Enjoy the benefits of micro stepping without changing your current full stepping set up.features a max of 7A per phase and a min 0.3A, with only 10watts heat dissipation at 7A per phase. Micro-stepping is selectable at full-step, half-step, 5-microstep, and 10 microstep.
RMS Technologies has designed a special resonance reducing circuit that will reduce resonance allowing a step motor run with less noise. The designers at RMS have also designed a high speed micro-step Turbo Circuit.
The turbo circuit will engage at 3-5 RPM and boost overall output from the driver. This allows more torque from the stepper when compared to other micro-step drivers at the same speed.

Lin Engineering has earned the reputation as the technical leader in step motor design with the ability to “Maximize Torque at Desired Speed..”
Founded by Ted T. Lin in 1987, Lin Engineering began as a consulting company specializing in step motor applications. Throughout the company’s history, it has continued to develop its capabilities in the areas of design engineering, manufacturing and customer service. Lin Engineering has developed its product line to include drivers, optical encoders, power supplies, spur and planetary gearboxes, and integrated step motor drives.
