Boston, MA – LM76 Linear Motion Bearings, the leader in plain style linear motion bearing technology, is proud to announce their ZOOM Linear Motion Systems. ZOOM linear tables feature the industry leading Minuteman™ Teflon® Composite linear bearing and LM76’s Proprietary Jet Shafting™.

ZOOM Tables excel in applications which present problems for traditional rolling element bearings. Applications which see rapid oscillation, contamination, high accel/decel, high loads, shock and vibration, washdown and require quiet resonance-free operation are all sterling candidates for ZOOM Linear Motion Systems.

All ZOOM Tables feature LM76’s Proprietary Jet Shafting which resists "sticktion" (breakaway friction) and prevents shaft corrosion. It is important to remember that once a system is in motion, it generally provides consistent frictional operation. However, start-up or breakaway friction can cause "lost time" and can result in system wear. Another issue that arises when using self-lubricating Teflon® composite bearings line Minuteman™ is shaft corrosion – There is no protective lubricant being applied to shafting. Jet Shafting’s tough finish protects expensive shafting from corrosion even in washdown applications!

Zoom Tables are available in the following formats:

• Single Rail Assemblies with 1-2 open style pillow blocks or with 1-2 Twin, open style pillow block assemblies.
• Plate Mounted X, Y, or Z axis systems featuring ball screws (rolled or ground).
• And, Multiple Axes Systems.
