Medium duty Type MNA gearheads mount quickly onto NEMA dimensioned size 23, 34, and 42 stepper or servo motors. The type MNA is very robust compared to three-pin cantilevered-supported planet gear types, or "all-spur" type NEMA gearheads. The MNA features double supported, hardened, satellite gears. The satellite carrier and output shaft are of "unibloc" (single piece) steel construction. Grease lubricated. Available from stock for NEMA dimensioned motors or, on special order, to fit non-NEMA motors. Max backlash of 20 or 10 arc-mins. Backlash spec holds for 10,000 hours minimum at rated load. Ratios 3 to 100/1.

For heavy duty, demanding servo applications, Type MNT all-planetary gearheads feature New Technology for high torque, quientness and high stiffness. The housings are all steel, so thermal expansion of all parts is uniform. The ring gear is integral to the gearhead housing to preclude loosening. The input sun gear and the planet gears are case hardened and precision ground to size with a smooth finish. Oil lubricated for long life and best heat transfer. You can specify max backlash of 10, 5, or 1 arc-min. Backlash spec holds for 15,000 hour design life. Ratios of 3 to 125/1. Six frame sizes from 2.5 to 8.3 inches (64 to 210 mm). Type MNT also features an "easy-mount" construction that enables easy assembly to your motor.

Mijno also offer the Type MTG line of small economy planetary gearheads (diameters to 20 to 120 mm). Backlash is 60 to 150 arc-mins depending upon diameter and number of planetary stages. Ratios 4 to 2076/1. Life rating is 3000 hours.
