| Q-Max High Stiffness Linear Stage
Deer Park, NY - The Q-Max is a precision positioning stage which has been developed for high stiffness, high resolution, and short stroke applications. It can be used exremely well for vertical Z-axis applications with overhanging payload that creates offset moment loading. It is equally well suited for horizontal applications requiring stability, low trajectory error and high resolution for precise positioning.
The fine pitch roller leadscrew drive is highly preloaded but offers low hysteresis drive without backdriving in the vertical application. Brushless or conventional servo motors can be used to drive this stage.
The integrated linear encoder is a non-contacting all solid state device delivering a 4-channel square wave digital TTL output signal or 1V peak-to-peak sinusoidal voltage signals or sinusoidal microcurrent output signal.
