The Trimline-6 Stage Series are extremely compact stages offering maximum positioning performance in the tightest possible envelope. They share the same structural platform with the Tracline-6 Series of Stages featuring the integrally preloaded multi-track precision linear guide rails and the monoblock aluminum alloy base, which creates a very stable mechanical motion platform with superior stiffness and flatness. The Trimline Series of Stages features a tighter stage envelope and a narrower saddle. The single axis stage modules can be combined into X/Y and multi-axis using fixed dowel pins for locating and are particularly useful where physical space is at a premium. The Trimline Series of Stages is equally well suited for precision fabricating applications, metrology, robotics and automation tasks.

The fine-pitch roller leadscrew offers higher resolution and yet substantial velocities. The continuous rolling motion action of the roller leadscrew permits high rpm motor speed for increased translation speed. This drive screw mechanism is integrally preloaded for a play-free operation and features low hysteresis which improves bi-directional repeatability. The fine-pitch roller leadscrew drive does not require an electric brake to prevent back-driving when the Trimline stage is used in a vertical Z axis application.
