Advanced Technology Positioning Stage
Deer Park NY - The Lineax-10 is an advanced technology positioning stage for higher performance levels in laser machines, semiconductor fabrication, automated assembly, micromachining and similar fields of application.
A linear brushless servo motor powers this linear translator with a peak force of 1650 Newton (375 lbs) achieving acceleration rates up to 3 G and velocities to 3m/sec. Non-contacting linear encoders with a selection various resolutions down to 100nanometer provide position feedback. In addition, all switch functions for limits and home index are integrated into the read head and fixed chrome-on-glass for all solid state switching operation .
All electrical interfacing is through a single-point cable DB Connector interface for single axis or XY tables which simplifies the integration of this high performance translator.
Extensive protective devices enhance this positioning product and make it most suitable for immediate use in OEM machines as well as the single system integrator.. Thermal protection from overheating protect the coil from burn-out. HED are use for initial phasing of the motor to avoid any motion of the stage. Protection against external physical environmental conditions is achieved with a solid hardtop plate and lateral tape seal to protect the entire stage cavity from foreign particles entering.
The matching motion control system is a fully integrated servo control from the MICROMATIC-5 series deaturing a DSP based motion controller and digital amplifiers.
